Does divorce occur by saying, "I divorced my wife," by way of obsessive whisperings? And does divorce occur by saying, "I am not holding on to her" and "Indeed, I am not holding on to my wife," if said during prayer or while watching a video about obsessive whisperings, or when formulating a question for a mufti with the intention of belittling the idea of obsessive whisperings? And can all new obsessive whisperings about divorce be referred to previous fatwas without asking the mufti again?

What happened to you indicates that you are still under the influence of obsessive whisperings (waswasah) concerning divorce, and the divorce of one afflicted by waswasah does not take effect. A person's fear of divorce and apprehension of its occurrence is a clear sign that waswasah is what drives them to doubts, and divorce only takes effect when one is acting out of free will. Do not ask many questions, as this strengthens the waswasah, and turning away from these whisperings is one of the best ways to treat it.
