Is it permissible to work for a company that provides financial and banking services to mixed Islamic and commercial banks, knowing that I am compelled to work and cannot find another alternative?

Working with ATMs is permissible in principle because they are used for both permissible and impermissible purposes. If they belong to Islamic banks, there is no objection. However, if they belong to usurious (interest-based) banks, it is not permissible, as it involves cooperation in sin and transgression. Likewise, it is not permissible to work in issuing cards for usurious banks, except in cases of necessity, which are to be estimated proportionately.
