Is it permissible to use a perfume that is marketed as inspired by "the forbidden fruit"?

Writing the phrase "for external use only" does not render the use of perfume unlawful. The ruling on perfumes, whether permissible or impermissible, depends on the origin of their constituent ingredients. If the ingredients are pure, then the perfume is permissible, as long as it does not result in harm. However, if it is composed of impure substances and has not undergone complete transformation (istihala), then it is considered impure.
