Must a student who vowed to fast ten days for success in high school fast them consecutively?

Whoever vows to fast for a certain number of days if they succeed in examinations, must fulfill their vow, because it is a vow of obedience. If they vow to fast for ten days and do not specify that they must be consecutive, then they may fast them separately or consecutively, though consecutively is better. However, if they stipulated consecutiveness or intended it, then they are obliged to fulfill it accordingly.
