What is the ruling on a daughter retorting to her angry father in an inappropriate manner, just as he is angry?

Filial piety, by showing kindness to one's parents, is an obligation. Allah has forbidden even saying "uff" to them. It is obligatory to honor one's father and obey him in matters that do not involve disobedience to Allah. A person must be wary of Allah's punishment. If the questioner knows himself to have a sharp temper, he must avoid situations that provoke anger. If something happens, he should seek refuge in Allah from Satan so that his anger may subside.
