Is it permissible to use creams of all kinds on the skin after ablution?

The basic principle regarding the use of creams is permissibility unless there is evidence to prohibit them, such as if their harm is medically proven, due to the Prophet's saying (peace and blessings be upon him): "There should be no harm nor causing harm." If the use of creams is permissible, then there is no objection to using them before or after ablution, provided they do not form a layer that prevents water from reaching the skin.
