What is the difference between the "Siddiqin" (truthful ones/saints) in His Almighty's saying: {And those who believe in Allah and His messengers - those are the Siddiqoon} and the "Sadiqeen" (truthful ones) in His Almighty's saying: {the patient, and the truthful, and the obedient, and those who spend [in the way of Allah], and those who seek forgiveness before dawn}?

The truthful (sadiq) is one who speaks and acts truthfully, and this is the opposite of lying. A Muslim must be truthful in his words and deeds with his Lord, himself, and others. It has been narrated in the Hadith that truthfulness leads to righteousness and Paradise. As for the most truthful (siddiq), this is a more emphatic term than sadiq. A siddiq is one who is truthful in his words and deeds, and who confirms the truth with his words and actions. This represents the perfection of faith in what the Messenger brought, encompassing knowledge, affirmation, and adherence.
