Is it permissible for a wife to travel without her husband's permission after she has been at her family's home for a month and a half?

It is not permissible for the wife to leave the house or travel without the husband's permission. If she does so, she is disobedient (nashiz). Her seeking permission from her brothers for travel is not sufficient, for her obedience to her husband takes precedence over her obedience to anyone else. Marital disputes are natural and should be resolved with wisdom and prudence. Each spouse should think well of the other, and control jealousy and be moderate in it.
