The fundamental principle for a Muslim is to strive for noble matters, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, forbade trivial ones. Among the trivial matters is what transpires in football stadiums, involving the waste of energies and time, even though the original ruling for customs is permissibility. However, what is permissible becomes prohibited if it transforms into a means to destroy the nation and squander its efforts.

Football has preoccupied people from their critical issues and transformed the unified nation into warring factions. The idleness and naivety of the youth, coupled with their forgetfulness of the purpose for which they were created, have contributed to the spread of this phenomenon.

Therefore, Muslim chanters and other individuals zealous for the nation must not contribute to the waste of energies, money, and time in this game. Rather, they should be strongholds protecting the nation from destruction and ruin.
