If someone vows to sacrifice a sheep, this is a vow of obedience that must be fulfilled. If he forgets whether he vowed it for his household or for the poor, he must strive to discern for whom he made the vow. If, after striving, nothing becomes clear to him, then it is obligatory for him to combine both options, giving from it to his family and to the poor and needy.
