How authentic is the Hadith Qudsi: "By My might and My majesty, I shall manage the affair for whoever has no recourse, to the extent that those with recourse will be astonished"?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The aforementioned hadith: "What is destined for you will come to you in your weakness, and what is not for you, you will not attain with your strength. By My might and glory, I shall provide for those who have no means, until those with means are bewildered," has no basis. It is a fabrication attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and to Allah, Glorious and Exalted. It is not permissible to attribute these words to Allah or His Messenger, nor to disseminate them except to clarify their inauthenticity. Lying about the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a grave sin, as he said: "Whoever intentionally lies about me, let him take his seat in Hellfire," and he said: "Do not lie about me, for whoever lies about me shall enter the Fire," and he said: "Whoever narrates a hadith from me which he deems to be a lie, then he is one of the liars."
