What is the ruling on watching channels that claim to cure sihr (sorcery/witchcraft) by knowing the mother's name and the afflicted person's information, and claim to know the future through astrology and horoscopes?

What channels broadcast regarding the knowledge of magic, divination, and sorcery is among the gravest of evils and corruptions. Its "sciences" are based on lies, charlatanry, and claiming knowledge of the unseen. Allah has condemned magic, magicians, and diviners, as in His Almighty sayings: (And the magician will not succeed wherever he goes) and (And they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And they learn that which harms them and does not benefit them) and (Indeed, Allah will expose its falsehood. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters). It is authentically reported in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days." And in the Sunan: "Whoever goes to a diviner or a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." It is obligatory to beware of watching these programs or contacting them, and guardians must prevent their families from doing so.
