Is it permissible for a woman to have one of her brothers witness her marriage?

It is permissible for the brother to be one of the two witnesses to his sister's marriage, provided that he is not her guardian (wali) in the marriage. The testimony of a brother for his sister in all other rights is accepted, and the scholars have unanimously agreed that a brother's testimony for his sibling is permissible.
