Is major ritual purity (ghusl) obligatory if a seminal-like fluid is discharged without arousal, and when?

The aforementioned fluid does not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath). If it is semen, its emission while awake and without lust does not obligate ghusl according to the preponderant opinion of the majority of scholars. If it is not semen, then ghusl is even less obligatory. In any case, it nullifies ablution (wudu). It is recommended to wash whatever part of the body and clothes it touched if it was semen, due to its purity. It is obligatory if it was not semen, and this is a precautionary measure.
