Is ritual purity (ṭahārah) and prayer (ṣalāh) obligatory after the cessation of postpartum bleeding (dam an-nifās) resulting from a C-section after 10 days, given the presence of discharge?

Discharges that are brownish or yellowish, mixed with blood, are considered lochia (nifas) as long as they occur within the 40-day period. A woman in lochia is prohibited from praying and fasting. If these discharges appear after the bleeding has stopped within the 40-day period, scholars have differed: some consider them lochia, while others do not. The woman should choose what she feels comfortable with. If she considers it doubtful, she should pray, fast, and fulfill her obligations.
