Is it permissible for me to return to my ex-husband - who divorced me with a divorce of ibra' (khul') - despite the opposition of my father and guardian?

Divorce granted in exchange for compensation (khul') necessitates a final separation, and a return to the marriage (raj'ah) is not valid except through a new contract.

Marriage without a guardian (wali) is invalid according to the majority of jurists.

If a father refuses to marry off his daughter, she should try to persuade him or raise the matter with the competent authorities. If the guardian's withholding (adhl) is proven, the judge will marry her off or delegate someone to marry her; for the ruler is the guardian of one who has no guardian.
