Are the thoughts that come to me about not loving the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from which I then seek refuge, considered whispers (waswas), and what is their ruling?

A servant's faith is not complete until he loves the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, more than everything, including himself, his father, his child, and all people. The proof of this love is believing him in what he conveyed, obeying his commands, and refraining from what he forbade. And the intrusive thoughts that may come are from Satan and must be repelled.
