Is printing in a law firm that defends criminals considered a sin?
Working in law is permissible if it is to support the oppressed and restore rights, and it is forbidden if it is to support falsehood, aid in injustice, or rely on lies and deceit. Based on this, the ruling on working in law offices, in printing and other tasks, is that it is permissible if it assists in upholding truth, and forbidden if it assists in upholding falsehood. If you know that the consultants are defending criminals, and you are asked to print their memoranda, it is not permissible for you to do so, because it is assisting in sin and condoning evil. You must advise them and refrain from participating in printing what you know to be a defense of falsehood; otherwise, seek another job.
