It analyzes and clarifies the wording of the hadiths, explains their benefits, and derives rulings from them, using clear language. It also mentions the judgments of imams on the hadiths. In his introduction, Al-Manawi stated his methodology for the commentary, which includes conciseness and avoidance of verbosity, along with presenting unique benefits and scholarly investigations.
