What is the ruling on supplicating in the past tense for future matters, such as "O Allah, make me among those who were given their book in their right hand," or "O Allah, make me among those who saw Your Noble Face"?

There is no objection to supplicating with the aforementioned wording, as if the supplicant is saying: "O Allah, make me among those whom You have inscribed in Your knowledge as being among the people of Paradise," or "among those whom You have inscribed as receiving their record in their right hand."
