Were any rulings or legislations revealed after Allah's saying in Surat Al-Ma'idah: "This day I have perfected for you your religion"?

Scholars have differed in interpreting the Almighty's saying: (This day I have perfected for you your religion). Some said that what is meant is the perfection of obligations and legal punishments, or the expulsion of polytheists from the House, or the perfection of the glory and manifestation of the religion, or the lifting of abrogation from the religion, or the removal of fear from the enemy, or the security of the Sharia from abrogation.

The preponderant view is that what is meant is the perfection of the fundamentals of religion, the principles of ethics, and the generalities of the law. The proof that rulings of permissibility and prohibition continued after this verse is that the last verses revealed from the Quran were the verse of kalala (inheritance of a person with no direct heirs), the verse of usury, and the verse of debt.

Thus, the meaning of the verse is the exclusive assignment of the Sacred City to Muslims, and not the perfection of rulings and obligations, the revelation of which did not cease until the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) passing.
