What is the last verse revealed from the Noble Qur’an?

Scholars have differed on the exact last verse revealed in the Quran, with several opinions:

1. The verse of Riba (usury): (O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of riba, if you should be believers).

2. The verse about accountability on the Day of Resurrection: (And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged).

3. The verse of debt: (O you who have believed, when you contract a debt for a specified term, write it down). These narrations have been reconciled by stating that the three verses were revealed at once, in their order in the Mushaf.

4. The verse of the completion of religion: (This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion).

Other opinions have also been mentioned, such as the verse of Kalalah (heirless person). It is most likely that these opinions are interpretations and conjectures, and that each narrator reported the last thing he heard, or that the verse was revealed along with other verses and was thought to be the last in sequence.
