Is it permissible to compose songs if their lyrics are permissible and contain no prohibitions in word or meaning, even if they are sung by entertainers?

Singing accompanied by musical instruments is forbidden by Islamic law, according to the consensus of the Ummah. This prohibition includes everyone who aids in it, such as the poet if he intends his poetry to be sung, and the singer, the composer, and the instrumentalist. Poetry is essentially speech; its good is good, and its evil is evil. It is commendable to use it in inviting to Allah, supporting the truth, and spreading virtue, not in singing and indecency.
