If the is a knowledgeable and trustworthy scholar, and all circumstances have been fully explained to him, then it is permissible to act upon his and not repeat the question; as Allah Almighty says: "So ask the people of the message if you do not know." And the common person should seek out the most knowledgeable person of his time. However, if there is doubt about the mufti or the clarity of the issue, it is preferable to consult the court. Caution must be exercised in matters of marriage and private parts.
