What is the response to those who deny Qiyas (analogical reasoning), and why does a sister by the father's side not inherit unless she is made an 'asabah (residuary heir) by a full brother or two full sisters?

The paternal sister inherits by way of fard (a fixed share) or ta’sib (residuary heirship). Her inheritance is not conditioned upon her brother being a mu’assib (agnatic heir) for her. It is incorrect to say that her full brother is the one who makes her a mu’assib. Rather, her paternal brother makes her a mu’assib, whether he is her full brother or not. Similarly, it is incorrect to say that two full sisters make her a mu’assib.
