A husband does not have the right to compel his wife to visit his mother. However, it is recommended for her to obey him in this matter and to bear the inconvenience patiently. If she cannot tolerate it, then he should convince his mother that it is not necessary for his wife to accompany him, or he should prepare his home for his mother and his children to visit.
