What is the ruling on playing the game of "Kung," which may distract from the remembrance of Allah and instill a belief that victory belongs to its player?

If the game is beneficial for learning self-defense, permissible in origin, does not harm the other party, and does not lead to the neglect of religious duties, then it is impermissible to play it at a time that causes the prayer to go beyond its prescribed time, and it should not distract from performing prayer in congregation. As for it distracting a person from remembrance of Allah, this is not considered a religious impediment as long as it is beneficial, for victory is in the hands of Allah the Almighty, and these means are causes that benefit by His permission.
