What is the ruling on converting wood into charcoal and selling it, knowing that a large portion of it is used for shisha (hookah)?

It is forbidden to make and sell charcoal if it is known that the buyer's purpose is to use it for shisha or other prohibited things, because "the means take the ruling of their ends." Selling grapes to someone who will make wine from them, selling weapons to people at war, selling a slave girl for singing, and renting out a house for selling alcohol within it—all of these are forbidden because they constitute cooperation in sin and aggression. As for making and selling charcoal for legitimate purposes such as grilling, there is no harm in that.
