What is the ruling on working in the tourism sector in general, what is the ruling on working in a tourist village where alcohol is served and there are nude individuals, and what is the ruling on the money earned from this work?

If a Muslim's work in tourism involves guiding tourists to places of sin, such as where alcohol is consumed or unlawful entertainment takes place, then this is not permissible for him, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." This applies even if the tourist is not a Muslim.

The salary earned from such work is not permissible. If the work does not include guiding to forbidden places but is inseparable from witnessing forbidden acts, then it is not permissible to remain in it, as it may lead to deviation and falling into forbidden acts.

Therefore, a Muslim should seek work that does not lead to sin, and he should flee from places of temptation. For whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
