Is it permissible to perform Umrah during the months of Hajj for someone who does not intend to perform Hajj in the same year, such as one who performs Umrah half a month before Hajj then travels?

Umrah is permissible during the months of Hajj by the consensus of scholars, whether the pilgrim intends to perform Hajj in the same year or not. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed Umrah four times, all of which were in Dhul-Qa’dah, which is one of the months of Hajj. His last Umrah was performed along with his Hajj. This is confirmed by the Hadith of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him. Scholars have mentioned that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, performed Umrah in Dhul-Qa’dah due to the virtue of this month and to contradict the people of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance) who considered performing Umrah during it a transgression.
