Is it disliked to wear a wedding ring (dublah) absolutely, whether with or without a specific belief, merely because it is customarily known to signify marriage or engagement? And what is the evidence for that?

Wearing an engagement or wedding ring is forbidden if one believes that it benefits the couple or perpetuates love between them, because this is a form of minor shirk (associating partners with Allah).
