How can buried sorcery at the doorstep be removed, and is it a condition for its removal that the person be a man of faith and knowledge?

It is permissible to extract magic for whoever knows its location, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, extracted his magic that Labid ibn al-A'sam placed for him in the well of Dharwan. It is not a condition for the extractor to be strong in faith, but appointing a righteous and knowledgeable man is more appropriate. It is advisable to consult religious scholars and people of knowledge on how to break and nullify magic, and to recite the two Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas) over it, as this was reported from Jibreel, peace be upon him.
