Is it permissible to turn up the radio's volume to announce the prayer (adhan) and then perform the prayer while the radio is still on?

It is not permissible to follow an imam via radio. However, performing the prayer while the sound of the radio is present, without intending to follow it, is permissible. It is recommended to remove anything that might distract the worshiper.
