What does Tarwiyah mean in Islam?

The Day of Tarwiyah (the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah) was named so because pilgrims used to quench their thirst for the Day of Arafah. It is also said that it was named so because Abraham (peace be upon him) saw in a dream the slaughter of his son, and he woke up contemplating whether it was a dream or from God.
