Are there others whom Allah will shade with His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His, besides the seven mentioned in the Hadith of Abu Hurairah?

Some scholars have mentioned additions to the seven categories of people whom Allah will shade, with some extending the number to seventeen by including good (hasan) and weak (da'if) hadiths, and others even reaching eighty-nine.

Abu Shama organized the primary seven into two poetic verses: "The Chosen Prophet said that seven / Will be shaded by Allah, the Generous, in His shade. A lover [for Allah's sake], a chaste one, a youth [devoted to worship], a giver of charity / One who weeps [out of fear of Allah], one who prays, and a just leader."

Ibn Hajar added seven more with sound (jayyid) chains of narration in two verses, as an appendix to Abu Shama's verses: "And add seven more: the shading of a ghazi (warrior in Allah's cause) and his helper / And giving respite to one in hardship and lightening his burden. And assisting one in debt and helping a mukatab (slave who contracts for self-emancipation) / And a truthful merchant in his words and deeds."

Ibn Hajar authored a specific treatise on this topic, which he named "Ma'rifat al-Khisaal al-Mawsila ila al-Dhilaal" (Knowledge of the Qualities Leading to the Shade).
