Is there a Sunnah before the Asr prayer due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, "May Allah have mercy on a person who prays four rak'ahs before Asr"?

It is commendable for a person to pray two or four rak'ahs before the 'Asr prayer, based on what was reported from Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs in a day and night, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." Their specification was mentioned in An-Nasa'i's narration: "Two before 'Asr." And based on what was reported from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on a person who prays four rak'ahs before 'Asr." And due to his saying (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Between every two adhans there is a prayer."
