Is it permissible for a sick person to pray while having a colostomy bag from which fecal matter continuously exits, and must he repeat ablution if the fluid exits during prayer, and what is the ruling on the purity of these fluids?

If the aforementioned bag is below the stomach, then what exits from it is impure feces that nullifies ablution (wudu’), and it must be cleaned or replaced for prayer. If this is difficult and its discharge is continuous, then the person is in the same ruling as one who suffers from سلس (incontinence), performing ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and what exits does not harm him. Washing the soiled area of the body is sufficient.

However, if the bag is above the stomach, then what exits from it is vomit, which does not nullify ablution according to the more preponderant opinion, and prayer is valid with it. Vomit is impure according to the majority of scholars, so the bag should be washed or replaced if possible without hardship.
