It is permissible to benefit from the remaining amount of compensation for the damage incurred to your car, as long as the perpetrator was not defrauded in the estimation of the indemnity, and an agreement was reached on the lowest estimated amount. In this case, you own that compensation and it is permissible to dispose of it and benefit from it, even if someone could be found to repair the car for less.
