What is the ruling on eating animals hunted with automatic rifles that died from the bullet, given that the Name of Allah was not pronounced upon shooting?

If the hunters are Muslims who know the ruling of dhakah (Islamic slaughter), then eat whatever they hunt without asking, because one should only assume good of a Muslim. Even if they forgot to say Bismillah (in the name of Allah) when shooting, the majority of scholars consider it permissible to eat game hunted by someone who forgot Bismillah out of forgetfulness. In fact, Shafi'i and his companions believe it is permissible to eat an animal slaughtered by someone who omitted Bismillah intentionally or out of forgetfulness. Ata' mentioned that it is not a condition for everyone who slaughters to mention the name of Allah, and that the animal slaughtered by a Muslim is permissible to eat whether they remembered Bismillah or forgot it. There is no difference between a Muslim and a People of the Book in the permissibility of eating from their game.
