How can one achieve truthfulness with Allah, and is the faltering pace towards realizing da'wah objectives and seeking knowledge due to the failure to achieve this fundamental pillar of worship?

Truthfulness with Allah is the highest form of truthfulness, realized through faith, good belief, acts of obedience, and good character, where a servant's outward and inward states align with what Allah loves. Surat Al-Baqarah has outlined the characteristics of the truthful: they are those who believe in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Scripture, and the prophets; who spend their wealth for the love of Allah; who establish prayer and give zakat; who fulfill their covenants; and who are patient in adversity. Truthfulness with Allah is not mere wishful thinking; rather, it is a sincere intention and diligent effort. For whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will grant him the status of martyrs, even if he dies in his bed. Truthfulness with Allah means truthful resolve and truthful action, which is the convergence of intent, its firm resolve, exerting one's utmost effort, and striving diligently. A Muslim should begin without procrastination and be truthful in their intention, for Allah assists those who are truthful in their purpose.
