Is a woman entitled to seek divorce from her husband due to his inability to engage in marital relations for three consecutive years?

It is permissible for a woman to seek divorce from her husband who is afflicted with an illness that prevents him from engaging in sexual intercourse, but he is not obligated to grant her request if intercourse occurred before the illness or if she was aware of his illness and consented to it.

She can free herself from him by khul’ (divorce at the instance of the wife) and returning the dowry. He is then obligated to accept this and grant the divorce to avert harm from her.

If she remains patient with him, there is no harm, and she should demand that he seek treatment so that he can fulfill her right to intimacy. She should also advise him, be open with him, and try to resolve the problem.
