Is an operation necessary to mend what was corrupted by adultery in order for repentance to be accepted, and will Allah accept my prayers, knowing that I have committed many major sins besides Shirk?

The fatwa recommends consulting fatwa no. 38413 to understand the vastness of Allah's mercy and forgiveness, and fatwa no. 32390 to learn about the conditions of repentance. It is not permissible to undergo the mentioned procedure due to the exposure of the major 'awrah involved. What is obligatory is sincere and truthful repentance, for "the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin." As for the acceptance of prayer, Allah has promised success to the believing and humble in their prayers. Allah Almighty says: "Successful indeed are the believers those who offer their prayers with humility." One must persevere in repentance, prayer, righteousness, and supplication, and distance oneself from evil environments. For Allah transforms the evil deeds of repentant believers who have faith and do righteous deeds into good deeds, as Allah Almighty says: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds. For them, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds. And Allah is Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful."
