What is the meaning of Allah's name "Al-Aziz," and why is it always associated with "Al-Hakim" or "Al-Jabbar"?

The names mentioned are among the Beautiful Names of Allah. The meaning of Al-Aziz (The All-Mighty) is the Strong, the Invincible. Al-Hakeem (The All-Wise) is the Knower, the Planner, the Perfecter of affairs. Al-Jabbar (The Compeller) is the Strong who compels creation or rectifies their state. The name Al-Aziz has been mentioned coupled with the name Al-Hakeem in forty-seven places in the Qur’an. This coupling indicates that His Might (Exalted be He) is accompanied by wisdom, so it does not entail injustice or oppression, and His wisdom is accompanied by complete might. As for the name Al-Jabbar, it was mentioned in one place in Surat Al-Hashr, within a list of several names, and it does not have a specific coupling with the name Al-Aziz as is the case with Al-Hakeem.
