It is feared that the invalidation of deeds due to falling into reprehensible acts (makroohaat) or sins might include daily adhkar (remembrances). Therefore, one must persevere in them while refraining from sins and repenting from them, for repentance erases evil deeds. If calamities afflict him despite his adherence to adhkar, this does not mean their invalidation; rather, it is for raising ranks and expiating sins, for tribulation afflicts even prophets and and the righteous.
