When is delayed puberty considered a problem, given that I am approaching my fifteenth year without any signs of puberty?
The signs of puberty are: nocturnal emission (wet dream), or the growth of coarse hair on the pubic area, or reaching fifteen lunar years of age. So, if you complete fifteen years, you have reached puberty, even if the other signs of puberty are delayed for you, because puberty occurs with the presence of any one of its signs. The people of knowledge have unanimously agreed that religious obligations and rulings become incumbent upon the sane individual who has experienced nocturnal emission, or upon reaching fifteen years of age, based on the Hadith of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them).
