What is the ruling on someone who bites his nails with his teeth while fasting?

Biting one's nails with the teeth does not affect the fast unless the fasting person intentionally swallows something from them. This act is discouraged due to its health harms, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There should be neither harm nor reciprocating harm."
