Does the word "were cast down" mean that the sorcerers did not prostrate themselves willingly, but rather that someone made them prostrate, and did God inspire them to prostrate?

Reflecting upon the Quran is a sign of divine success. Allah Almighty says: "And the sorcerers fell down prostrate" [Al-A'raf: 120]. The sorcerers prostrated themselves by their own choice, and the verb was rendered in the passive voice to emphasize the description of their prostration, as if an irresistible force had thrown them down prostrate, or to indicate the immense nature of theacle they witnessed, which compelled them to prostrate.
