What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding discharges that occur outside the the regular time of the menstrual period and cause doubt about the validity of fasting and prayer?

Discharges that occur outside the menstrual period do not prevent prayer or fasting, based on the statement of Umm Atiyyah: "We did not consider the yellowish or brownish discharge after purification to be anything." These discharges are pure, and it is not obligatory to wash clothes stained by them.
