Is it forbidden for a young woman to greet a non-mahram man if the intention is to ask a mufti directly or online about a Sharia ruling?

Some scholars have prohibited a young woman from initiating salutations to a man. However, the more authoritative view is that it is permissible for a woman to initiate salutations to a man when there is no fear of temptation (fitna). It is not permissible if there is a fear of temptation, whether the communication is in person or via the internet.
