Should a worshiper recite Al-Fatihah aloud in the Sunnah prayer of Maghrib if another worshiper is led by him, and what is the ruling concerning the 'Ishaa' prayer?

It is permissible for someone performing a supererogatory night prayer to recite aloud or silently, and the matter in this regard is broad, for its ruling is like that of someone praying alone. Reciting aloud is better if it energizes the reciter, or if there is someone present who listens to or benefits from their recitation. As for silent recitation, it is more appropriate if there is someone nearby also performing night prayers, or someone who would be disturbed by a raised voice, or if one fears ostentation. Some scholars have preferred silent recitation on the grounds that adhering to what is prescribed for one's own prayer is more important than adhering to what is prescribed for the prayer of others.
